Terms & Conditions

  1. The hire vehicle is for use of up to 4 persons including the driver. Each person must use the safety restraints provided at all time whilst the vehicle is in motion.
  2. Drivers must be between 23 and 75 years of age and held a full driving licence for a minimum of 2 years.
  3. Only stated drivers are permitted to drive the vehicle.
  4. A refundable security deposit will be taken before the hire commences and will be refunded provided no damage has been sustained to the vehicle whilst in your care. We reserve the right to charge back this amount without notice if damage is found to have been done to the vehicle that is not found on the initial return inspection. This excess applies to any damage to the vehicle of any value including damages in which repair cost is less than the excess charge.
  5. All drivers must provide their photo ID license prior to hire commencement plus 2 items of residential proof less than 90 days old at time of hire.

2 proofs of address must come from the following:

Electric bill/ statement, Water bill/ statement, Gas bill/ statement, Broadband/ landline, Council tax, TV licence, bank statement, Polling card, HMRC self-assessment/ tax credit, Student loan, shotgun licence, payslip, Mobile phone bill, Pension letter, Car finance statement, loan statement or property deed.

The address and name on your licence must match both documents.

  1. The insurers do not discriminate against medical conditions. So long as the DVLA/ doctor/GP have not imposed any restrictions.
  2. Details of additional drivers are required in advance of rental period.
  3. Drivers are personally liable for all legal penalties (eg : parking tickets, speeding offences,  etc.)
  4. All drivers must be present at booking hire start day, as a DVLA licence check is required by the insurance.
  5. If any mechanical failure occurs, Cromer Campervan Ltd., will credit the hirer compensation in the way of additional hire time to the customer. No cash alternative is available.
  6. A deposit is required at time of booking with balance to be paid at least 28 days to hire date commencement. If the booking is made within the 28-day period, full payment is required.
  7. Cromer Campervan reserves the right to increase the security deposit for specific rentals, e.g, festivals, events etc.
  8. in the event of Cromer Campervan having to cancel a booking, we will credit the hirer with alternative hire dates. No cash alternative is available.
  9. Late return charges may be charged up to 100% and must be returned in opening hours.
  10. Charges are payable for : waste water not emptied, if the campervan is not returned with a clean interior, the fuel is not the same amount as when hired, etc.
